Why then do so many fathers fail to live out their role as fathers to the fullest? I believe, as Edwin Louis Cole said, that the main factor is because men are not growing into maturity — and the reason men are not maturing is due to the lack of discipleship within the local church. For this reason, it is the task of church pastors to disciple men, and it is the task of men to disciple their families. This material is a 30 day devotional, designed as a follow-up to Module 2 Men’s Discipleship. After participants attend Camp Module 2: Becoming a Real Father, they are to go through this material together with their Havruta-Micro Cell group to dive deeper and apply the principles of fatherhood within their families.
